Ingredients

  • 1 cup roasted peanuts, finely ground
  • 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cucumber, finely chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (optional, for heat)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

Prepare the Ground Peanuts

If your peanuts are not already ground, use a food processor to finely grind the roasted peanuts until they resemble coarse crumbs.

Combine the Vegetables

In a large mixing bowl, combine the finely chopped tomatoes, onion, cucumber, green bell pepper, and green chilies (if using).

Add the Ground Peanuts

Add the finely ground peanuts to the vegetable mixture and toss to combine.

Season the Salad

Add the chopped fresh parsley, lemon juice, and olive oil to the bowl.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Mix Well

Toss all the ingredients together until well combined.

Serve

Transfer the Salatat Dakwa to a serving dish.
