Ingredients

  • 4 whole fish (such as snapper or grouper), cleaned and scaled
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh lemon wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, paprika, ground cumin, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Marinate the Fish

Place the cleaned fish in a large dish or a resealable plastic bag.

Pour the marinade over the fish, ensuring they are well-coated inside and out.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 4 hours for best flavor.

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

Grill the Fish

Remove the fish from the marinade and place them on the preheated grill.

Grill the fish for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. The skin should be crispy and charred.

Serve

Transfer the grilled fish to a serving platter.

Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Enjoy your meal!
