Ingredients

Base Ingredients

• 1 lb (450 g) chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
• 1 lb (450 g) pork belly, cut into bite-sized pieces
• 1/2 lb (225 g) shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1-inch piece ginger, grated
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
• 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce (or ketjap manis)
• 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
• 1 tablespoon honey
• 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 1 large onion, chopped
• 1 bell pepper, chopped
• 2 green onions, chopped

Preparation

Marinate the Meat:

In a large bowl, combine the chicken, pork belly, and shrimp with minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and ground black pepper. Mix well to coat the meat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Meat:

Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken and pork belly to the wok. Cook, stirring frequently, until the meat is browned and cooked through, about 10-15 minutes.
Add the shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and cooked through.

Add Vegetables:

Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the wok. Stir-fry for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.
Stir in the chopped green onions and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve:

Transfer the moksi meti to a serving dish.
Enjoy your meal!
