Ingredients

  • 2 cups of millet flour (or corn flour as an alternative)
  • 4 cups of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • Optional: A splash of vegetable oil or butter for added richness

Instructions

In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Gradually add the millet flour while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Reduce the heat to low and continue to stir until the mixture thickens and begins to pull away from the sides of the pot, about 10-15 minutes.

Stir in the salt and, if desired, a splash of vegetable oil or butter for added richness.

Cover the pot and let the mixture cook on low heat for another 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and let it sit for a few minutes before serving.
