⏱ — min. Serves: —

Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Honey or syrup, for drizzling (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Coating

In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, granulated sugar, and ground cinnamon (if using).

Coat the Bananas

Lightly coat each banana slice with the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil over medium heat until hot.

Fry the Bananas

Add the banana slices to the hot oil in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Serve

Remove the fried bananas from the skillet and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

Optional: Drizzle and Garnish

Drizzle with honey or syrup, and garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Enjoy your meal!
