Ingredients

  • 500 grams pork belly, cut into slices
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges (for serving)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Pork Belly

Pat the pork belly slices dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a crispy texture when cooking.

Season

Season the pork belly slices with salt, black pepper, and paprika if using.

Cook

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the pork belly slices to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the pork is crispy and golden brown. Adjust the heat as needed to prevent burning.

Drain

Remove the cooked pork belly from the skillet and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.

Serve

Arrange the Stegt Flæsk on a serving plate. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
